Disney World - Planned Magic

Disney World is a truly brilliant achievement. The planning that went into developing and constructing the theme parks is pretty much without equal anywhere. It’s unfortunate that the same care and thoughtfulness is almost never applied to the design of our cities, towns and housing developments. Disney World is focused on you, the visitor, and your experience. The results of that have lead to it being the number 1 tourist destination in the world with all four of the Disney World theme parks being listed in the ten top theme parks world-wide. The location, of course, is another huge plus for Disney World. Located close to, but outside Orlando proper with major highways close by, the 47 square miles making up Disney World are beautiful. With the agreeable climate in Florida, it can operate on a year round basis and visitors will only rarely have problems with the local weather.
