Ecards or traditional greeting cards for Valentine’s Day

With Valentine’s Day approaching some people may be wondering if it’s ok to send Valentine’s Day ecards in place of traditional greeting cards. I think it depends on who the recipient is and what the relationship is like. If it’s your wife, for example, then I would recommend sending an ecard during the day so she receives it while at work and then come home at the end of the day with flowers and a card. Lots of people like to wish Happy Valentine’s Day to all their friends, ecards are perfect for this. Overall, ecards are a fine substitute for a traditional greeting card but if you will be seeing the person on Valentine’s Day then I would recommend also giving them a card.
